The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) – Qatar has launched a new drive-through COVID-19 testing service in Lusail, in its effort to limit the spread of omicron, the new variant.
The Ministry confirmed that the new centre can provide nasal swabs for up to 5,000 people per day and will work throughout the week from 8am to 10pm.
It will continue to work as a center for PCR examination services as long as the demand for these examinations remains exceptionally high due to omicron wave.
The new centre is only for drive-through PCR test and is located opposite Lusail Circuit and will begin operation from Thursday, January 6, at 4 pm.
