It will soon be possible for vehicles with traffic violations to renew the Istimara (vehicle registration).
The traffic fines will be transferred to a special section and referred to the Public Prosecution once new procedures are carried out.
The new procedures will be announced soon after the “Traffic Violations Settlement Initiative” will be concluded on March 17, 2022.
Colonel Jaber Mohamed Rashid Odaiba, Assistant Director of the Media and Traffic Awareness Department at the General Directorate of Traffic, in his announcement with Qatar TV, told the people to take advantage of the initiative to settle their accumulated traffic violations.
